Funk Network UK was created to strengthen and grow the live scene throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Now it has grown to include links to every country in the world.
The site is free for anybody to explore the music scene, network with like-minded people, and find bands for venues or events.

The main database resource contains details of bands and musicians who create their own original music within a wide range of genres including funk, soul, jazz, R&B, hiphop, reggae, drum and bass.
In fact it covers all groove based styles of music, especially those which are derived from funk music
It includes eclectic artists who fuse these styles with any other type of music.
